@sjf0469@NathanJudah After a slight improvement we're now worse and showing less than when he joined. A large part of it is not his fault, however he's tarnished with it all and we need a complete reset and I think this will happen
This Saturday, we thank Chris for his commitment to the club with a testimonial match involving many of the players that have played under him.
We'd love to see Moor Lane packed for your final football fix of the season.

@RogerLa63835713 100% has to, along with as many of the players as humanly possible, honestly don't care if we keep any of them. Has to be the biggest rebuild in the clubs history and complete change from top to bottom

All amazing things must come to an end.....
After a great deal of thought and deliberation I've made the decision that this season will be my last as manager of @WincantontownFC I informed the club pre Christmas, but we decided to keep it to ourselves until the end of the season.
Anybody who knows anything about this club will know that my role has far exceeded running a side on a Saturday. I've been heavily involved in the day to day operational running, organisation, and development of the club, largely at times doing this alone, but always to my absolute maximum for the benefit of Wincanton.
I care deeply about Wincanton and what it represents, which is why this decision has been so unbelievably difficult. However, as the club has progressed and risen, the demands of sustaining that progress, particularly in an ever growing challenging financial environment, have grown significantly and have become unsustainable.
The time now feels right to step aside at the end of the campaign and allow the club the opportunity to plan properly for the future, with an honest and realistic view of where it is, the challenges it faces, and what is required to build something sustainable going forward. For the club to continue to grow, it will need people around the manager who can share the load and help build the foundations for long term success.
Wincanton town has been a huge part of my life for more than a decade. I'm incredibly proud of what we've built, both on and off the pitch, and of the journey the club has been on during that time.
I'm grateful to everyone who has supported me throughout the years , my management team(s), committee members, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters.
I want to make a special mention to my family. My dad stepped into the chairman's role when nobody else would, and my mum has done countless hours of work in the kitchen on matchdays, sorting the kit week in, week out as well as many other adhoc roles. Thank you both for the incredible support you've given me and the club. To my brother Dan, who has been club captain since 2015 , you and I both know the commitment and sacrifices you've made, always for the good of the club. You've been an incredible captain and I can't thank you enough.
And finally, to my players, past and present, and far too many to name. Thank you for your effort, commitment, and loyalty over the years. We all know you were certainly never at Wincanton for the money. You are what made this club what it has been for me, and I cannot thank you enough. My memories from Wincanton will last a lifetime, and each of you played your part.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey. ๐ค๐
