There are 2 Lakh aspirants and none of them wants the NEET PG exam to happen in double shift except the government and despite repetitive outrage and concerns raised they are ignoring as healthcare professionals doesn’t exist for them .
This is called DICTATORSHIP .
NEET PG double shift / irregular Normalisation issue :
During foreplay of pre/postponement of NEET PG by NBE and NMC last year with 2 lakh + doctors the reason for double shift was stated as the lack of sufficient time for centres allocation and security .
But this year neither there was such issue and yet exam is being conducted in two shift despite knowing about the alleged irregularities and lack of transparency in Normalisation and marks calculation .
Last year the shift 2 was comparatively more difficult and losing confidence during that period affects the score and stats of the aspirants relative to other shift which is possible this time as well
Also What sought of democracy are we living in when the aspirants are not even permitted to go through their own answer keys post exam results nor they are responded despite thousands of emails / complaints in the regulatory bodies of NMC and NBE .

Rule 17: A system that grants double benefits to some while leaving others behind.
Save Open Merit!
Amend Rule 17!
Remove residential criteria from EWS eligibility!
For all those habitual critics who were desperately trying to malign by trying to insinuate that we are agents of some party.
I am proud to be an agent of merit.
Whatever I said were facts as they happened, whether this or the one after meeting the HCM.
You cannot conveniently choose facts to suit your narratives.

Despite being ill and in Jammu, an open merit warrior decided to join the sit-in protest and left for Srinagar this morning.
It's a lesson for all of us to wake up and stand with him.
We can't make an excuse now
It's now or never.
If you can't , make sure your friends come.
Ever wondered why is it that the Unreserved/General Population, despite being pushed to the brink by J&K’s disproportionately skewed reservation policies , often approach conversations with hesitation, as if apologizing for their existence ?
Have we ever seen those benefiting from the reserved categories ever pause to empathize with the struggles of the general population or stand in solidarity against the systematic erosion of general representation to the extent of nullity .
The problem is not about equity or class but awareness.
When do the Unreserved/GC politicians/ officers/ journos/influencers/ civil society groups come to understand their problems as one solid mass and raise class consciousness to defend their own interests, something the Reserved have so comfortably achieved ?
Are solidarity, pressure groups, and unified class interests the exclusive domain of the reserved ? Or is it time for the Unreserved to rise, NOT with apologies but with purpose and conviction ?
We need to ask these tough questions.
Tired of same old apologetic punch lines-"We are not against Reservations ", "affirmative action is good " etc .Till the day the Reserved don't reciprocate with "We are not against the GC" "merit is the rule" ,I believe we must hold back senseless appeasement and put all our efforts to somehow redeem our own diminished representation in every institution and structure that exists in J&K.
United we stand ,divided we fall !

I " urged the Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister to fulfill the poll promise of rationalizing the reservation system, ensuring that the majority of J&K's youth receive their due opportunities in ongoing recruitments and college admissions. "Letting this issue linger only harms the very interests of the elected government," he said, adding that the government should focus on consolidating support from the general population rather than worrying about criticisms from a small reserved elite. Invoking Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Mujeeb called for the restoration of the rule of merit, with reservation serving as an exception rather than the rule."
Thanks for capturing the crux of arguments @GreaterKashmir

Idk why ain't non medical students gearing up the protest against new reservation policy .Not only are Medical students facing consequences of this unjust policy but all the fields are either facing it already or are going to face it in its severe form in future

Bruh is speaking facts.
Reservation was to ensure that something is coming from marginalized communities while merit will be the general rule .
I.e why BR Ambedkar said reservation should apply to minority of seats.
But what's happening now is something is coming from open merit.
And The Reservation (which was an exception to the general rule) has now become a general rule itself.
For the first time in history, GMC Udhampur records ZERO open merit selections in 2024. Not a single general category student made the cut. Let that sink in.
This isn't just about numbers - it's about the future of our healthcare system and the principles of fair competition. When merit takes a backseat, we're not just losing students - we're losing health care system

📌 SKIMS MBBS students hold a peaceful protest against the "Murder of Merit"
As recruitments and advertisements unfold under the new reservation policy, it’s becoming evident how meritorious students are being systematically excluded from our institutions. In NEET UG, only 12.4% of Open Merit (OM) boys were selected. In NEET PG, just 29% of OM candidates succeeded. With JKPSI, JKPSC, and Constable recruitments yet to come, we are on the verge of witnessing further underrepresentation and exclusion of deserving candidates.
We stand firm in our resolve to resist this injustice, fight for our constitutional rights, and ensure that merit prevails.
