First responder personnel see the real-life impact of gun violence every day. Itโs not just statistics, headlines, and possibilities for us. First responders see first-hand the people, families, and communities who are forever changed by gun violence. This is why raising awareness is so important. When we openly speak about gun safety, we can work together to promote responsible gun ownership, support early intervention, and help prevent tragedies before they happen. Everyone has a role to play in making our neighborhoods safer. #LASD #WearOrange #GunViolenceAwarenessDay #GunViolenceAwarenessWeekend
