Why we started wish I’d known
Becoming a parent is such a whirlwind. We both became mums in the last 2 years, Hannah in the middle of a pandemic and Emily not long after. Although amazing, fulfilling and joyful, it can also at times be lonely, frustrating and a huge challenge.

🦸🏼♀️INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY🦸🏻♀️
In celebration of International Women’s Day, we are feeling incredibly grateful for all the incredible women and girls who have inspired us and made every day better.
Strong female friendships are supportive, empowering & enriching. Our founders have been lucky enough to have that for over 30 years - from toddlers, through teenage years, to motherhood & founding a business together. We’ve supported each other through the good times & the bad.
If you’re looking for a simple, sustainable solution for your child’s clothes, check out @thelittleloop a clothing club that gives access to ethical, wear-and-tearable clothes. We’ve tried and tested it at Wish I’d Known and we’re big fans!
We’re starting the week with an insight all about second hand items.
It’s a slightly trickier one to interpret but it’s showing the number of categories people bought second hand vs the number the wish they’d bought second hand.
@LibbyPageWrites We asked a question about this on Wish I’d Known recently and so many answers talked about how much easier it gets https://t.co/DPl5MWr0bc

Our first insight for this week is about FLEX💪🏼It’s great to see that over 1/2 of our community have the option to work flexibly, officially or otherwise. If it wasn’t for the work of people like @PregnantScrewed @mother_pukka@WeAreMcAlpine that number would be a lot lower!
Wouldn’t it be amazing if everyone had that available to them? 1/4 of our community are restricted either by not having the option at all or invisible restrictions that make it impossible in reality.
