A year after the class ended, she reached out & asked if she could submit one of my stories for a Cronkite contest and told me she'd been following my work. I still remember feeling so honored. She made us all better journalists. I'll always be grateful. May she rest in peace🙏

It's clear from reading people's stories that she's influenced many of us. Maureen was my advanced journalism reporting professor. She encouraged me to do the D.C Cronkite News program and believed I'd excel in it. Her class was one of my highlights during my time at Cronkite.

Left home to go to pharmacy and feels apocalyptic outside. Cars lined up for gas, armed uniforms at the stations, people pissed off, yells. Pharmacist said no to almost everyone.
