NEW SERIES ANNOUNCEMENT: The Story of the Moon Waiting for the Evening
High schooler Yohana Sakaki lives in a town full of ghosts, spirits, and other ethereal beings, where the eminent Yashiro family is tasked with keeping these beings in check. Yohana has distant ties to the family, but she lacks any abilities and has resigned herself to an ordinary life. When she falls into a pond at the Yashiro estate, she seems to catch the eye of a high-ranking member of the Yashiro hierarchy—only to be ignored in favor of another girl, who strangely had the same accident. Having apparently lost her golden opportunity, Yohana is instead aided by a mysterious young boy named Chitose, who has little status but quite a few secrets. And when she begins spending time with him and assisting in his spiritual work, she learns that her destiny may have changed more than she realized—but whether for good or ill, no one can yet say.

a lot of times small fandoms are nice however sometimes they fall victim to clique or two who get a weird amount of social capital in the community and heavily influence the fandom and fanon interpretations and it supremely sucks when that happens for a multitude of reasons.

the whole situation with yang senpai and the publisher manga up is so upsetting and I can’t imagine how sooncha sensei is feeling rn. I hope that she gets the rights and a new publisher because getting your own series cancelled immediately is the worst feeling
Reading Hirayasumi feels like taking a breath of fresh air. It’s always a pleasure to return to Keigo Shinzo’s characters, his light drawing style and the warmth with which he explores his themes.
Witch Hat Atelier manga is about 1/3 done, according to creator Kamome Shirahama.
"I would say maybe we are about a third of the way into the story. It's really difficult to say. I will say that we have definitely hit a major turning point with the Silver Eve arc."
She also told us that she has the broader strokes of the future story in mind, but not the small details.
"That's not something I decided in advance. It's something that newly develops over time as I'm creating the story. So, nothing's really fixed in stone, but I do think about where I’m going to land."
The manga began in July 2016, releasing a total of 98 chapters and 16 volumes so far. Season 2 of the anime is currently in production.
Announcement: From Goodnight Punpun creator Inio Asano comes a new take on adventure comics. A band of heroes gathers from across the realm to defeat the dread darkness that threatens the kingdom. When the quest ends, how many “heroes” really remain? Heroes, with interiors printed in black and red ink, releases Fall 2026.
The reason why shoujo as a demographic is looked down upon compared to shonen and seinen is because of internalized misogyny and the inherent idea that a young girl's feelings are considered immature, juvenile, and unimportant in the grand scheme of things.
