Forget a tempest in a teapot. Victoria Siemer puts the ocean in a coffee cup. The graphic designer's caffeinated creativity started while experimenting with the idea of microcosms in Photoshop.

Anyways, I’ve been itching to play with this concept again and I happened to get commissioned by @Adobe for a piece recently, so it’s a great kick in the ass for me to:
1) figure out how the hell I made this
2) document recreating it and share it

Last summer I permanently deleted a folder on my PC that contained everything I had shot, edited, and tinkered with since 2019. I tried everything, but it wasn't recoverable. 🙃
Fun fact, I ripped this shot from the passenger seat of a moving van and let it collect dust in a hard drive.
My photo adventures fell off steeply during the pandemic, so really digging into my archives to find things I overlooked when I had those opportunities.
It's been nice to tinker again. Lots of sketches and experiments in the works.
Still haven't figured out if and how to translate more of that outside of my lil creative hermit bubble.
But progress is progress, I'll take it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
