Together, we are collectively advocating for legislation to expand multilingual learning 🙏🏽

With over 70,000 Rhode Islanders earning Minimum Wage, most of whom are working parents, now is the time for us to raise the Minimum Wage to $20 and enact a PERMANENT increase every year!
With the rising cost of living, working people deserve higher wages.

Multilingual learners are the fastest-growing student population in Rhode Island. @AInfanteGreen told @Isabella_Jib and me that at a time when the student population as a whole is declining, the number of English learners has increased by 76 percent over the last decade.
