Celebrating small wins is hardwired into "Achieve," our goal-tracking sample app.

We wanted the simple act of checking off a task to feel like a celebration. Instead of the standard #Material ripple, we used Styles to drop in a custom, high-contrast completion animation—specifically, a brand-colored ring that expands and fades on tap, paired with a subtle pressed-state gradient.

It lets us focus entirely on polishing those custom, rewarding micro-interactions while Material handles the foundation.

Artificial intelligence models need to start supporting real state transfer.
They should be able to understand what the current state is, what we are working on, and carry that context properly into a new window or at the very least summarize it clearly and correctly.

You never have to write code alone.

In the past, coding was limited to software developers and people specialized in specific technical roles. With the rise of generative AI, writing code has become accessible to everyone, not just experts.

This does not mean that everyone suddenly became a developer or a technical specialist. It simply means that anyone can now ask generative AI to produce code.

For people without a solid technical foundation, this is not necessarily good news. Very quickly, they will realize that the problem is not as simple as it looks from the outside. Generating code is one thing. Understanding whether that code is correct, maintainable, and secure is a completely different skill.

For experts, however, the situation is the opposite. They now have a remarkably powerful assistant. Generative AI does not replace thinking, designing, or decision making. It takes over repetition and operational workload.

In short, vibe coding is not working against us. When used correctly, it is a transformation that works entirely in our favor.

OpenAI now feels like a company that mostly produces knockoff versions of everything.
What comes out are models that generate knockoff images, write knockoff code, and give knockoff answers.
There's no real depth in any of them.
It feels as if the models aren't trying to understand or solve problems, but are simply responding for the sake of responding.
