It is honestly shocking that even today many government colleges in India lack basic amenities. I came here to represent my university at an 3 days NSS district level camp and the ground reality is genuinely disappointing. No proper washrooms, no beds, poor hygiene and almost no basic comfort for students.

We talk about youth development, education and nation building, but how are students expected to work and participate properly in such conditions? This is not about luxury. These are basic necessities.

The government seriously needs to take strict action and improve the condition of government colleges, especially in rural areas. Students deserve much better than this.
