@Starrinze @EireannK1@h_ollymitchell It’s not a long time considering we’ve been on our way to destroying the planet completely for much longer than that. We are at the brink of being in the red zone when it comes to saving it.
My mam was telling me about the Irish Eurovision song that got picked and showed me the girl performing it last night. Sorry, I almost got sick in my mouth. The girl cannot sing, she’s off key by a mile, who the hell voted for that shite
@fasc1nate During this scene in A Series of Unfortunate Events (2004), Jim Carrey forgot his next line but stayed in character whilst asking the director for another take.
My tremors are somewhat okay on a daily basis and I can do the work I need to do without any interruptions or struggles. But sometimes, (like now), just watching my right hand intensely shake, making it hard to type just makes me think what the hell is going on inside my body.
I’ve stopped taking my medication for my essential tremors for two months now and it’s insane how much I depended on it to get through daily life and how tired it made me feel.
Very sad but ever since Slaves changed their band name to Soft Play it gives me seriou ickkk. A song of theirs would come on on my Spotify and I just can’t listen to it in the way I used to.
All of this can be thought just through play with your child. And I think a lot of the time, especially now while I’m people watching on the bus, we see that begin to fade away as our children, [even future children] are not taught this and they are being sucked into a screen.
Morning bus journey thoughts: Sometimes I think we underestimate how important the role of the father is in a child’s life. It’s easy to say mothers are important because they are naturally care givers. But fathers give something to children that mothers can’t or struggle with.
Both teach their children through play, how to compete fairly and how to use challenge in a way that's healthy and respects the other person you're engaging with, doesn't beat them down or fight them.
