The victim that was shot and killed by ICE in Maine has been identified as Joan Sebastian Guerrero.
Guerrero had a 3-year-old daughter, was authorized to work in the US, was given a Social Security number, and was not the target of ICE's immigration action.
ICE killed a father of three yesterday and no one is talking about it.
Lorenzo Salgado Araujo spent 35 years in Houston building homes and raising a family.
According to people interviewed, every night after work you'd find him on his porch, listening to music, petting his dog. He helped his three kids (U.S. Citizens) get through college.
It certainly seems that he was doing everything right, and then a federal agent shot him dead during a stop and his own son found out from a Facebook video, recognizing his father's voice as he lay bleeding in the street.
His son says that if his father had recognized any sign of law enforcement, he would have complied without question.
DHS says he "tried to run him over." This is the exact same lie they used to justify murdering Renee Good, a mother of three.
We are being asked to trust a rogue, lawless agency's word over a dead man's family, again, with no body cam release and no independent investigation.
Everyone should be outraged.
Imagine how many children wouldn't have been sexually assaulted if Trump hadn't pardoned the J6'rs and left them in jail. Every day another one is arrested for raping kids.
“How did we go from paper straws to data centres?”
Because no one listened to the environmentalists who said unchecked corporate pollution was the bigger issue.
🚨 THIS IS WILD.
Rep. Menendez says he waited 15 HOURS outside an ICE facility trying to check on a detainee leading protests over conditions inside.
He says he told officials:
I’m not leaving until I know he’s okay.
Then after waiting overnight…
he finally gets inside.
And the first thing they tell him?
The man he came to see was gone.
Moved at 2 AM.
Read that again.
A member of Congress shows up for an oversight visit…
waits all night…
and the detainee he specifically came to check on gets transferred before he can see him.
Menendez says that detainee was helping organize a hunger strike because people inside wanted their stories heard.
Whatever your politics are…
when oversight shows up, the answer should be transparency.
Not a disappearing act at 2 in the morning.

If capitalism is so great, why do corporations need tax breaks, subsidies, exemptions, grants, bailouts, legal protections, and trade barriers to survive? And when ordinary people ask for help, why is it suddenly called socialism?
🚨BREAKING: Right-wing streamer Cam Higby was caught on video walking up to a group of protesters and pepper spraying multiple people, outside the Newark ICE Facility.
Then, as people reacted to being sprayed, an armed man pulled him away, telling him, “It’s not worth it… it’s time to go.”
Last time I checked… walking up to a group of people and spraying them with a chemical irritant is commonly charged as assault or battery.
And then, after spraying the crowd, the video show Higby, and the armed man, running into the ICE facility while agents allowed them inside.
Imagine the outrage if a left-wing activist walked up to a group of conservatives, pepper sprayed them, and then disappeared behind federal gates.
The headlines would never stop.
The law is supposed to apply equally to everyone.
This story gets so much worse. Apparently this all started because police were called out for a disturbance after her husband broke their tv out of anger after finding out his brother was killed by Israel in Gaza. The husband is Palestinian. When the police were taking him into custody his wife stopped them because she wanted to accompany him and that is when the officer threw her on the ground for “interference.” The couple was cooperative with the police the entire time and yet this is how they were treated.
She delivered the baby prematurely because of the physical trauma on her body but thankfully both she and the baby survived and are in good health. She easily could have miscarried.
This entire police department should be investigated and that officer should be arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
The Story of Wesam Mekdad
“I am a Palestinian from #Gaza. I fled my homeland in search of safety and the opportunity to work so that I could send money back to my family, who are surviving under the horrors of war.
The road was grueling and full of obstacles. First, I went to Egypt, where I waited a full year just to secure a Turkish visa. From Turkey, I attempted to cross into Greece. I failed twice, enduring imprisonment both times. It was only on my third attempt that I finally reached Greek soil.
Once there, I was placed in a refugee camp for a year, waiting for a residence permit. But the moment I finally received it, my life was shattered again: I was unjustly imprisoned for four years. My trial was a sham, and it became deeply clear to me that refugees are not treated equally under the law there.
Eventually, I was released. Seeking a fresh start, I traveled to Berlin, where I met my wife and we were married. Together, we moved to the Netherlands to apply for asylum. I truly believed that the Netherlands, as a nation built on human rights, would understand our plight.
Because I am an innocent man and had absolutely nothing to hide, I was entirely honest with the authorities. I openly told them about my imprisonment in Greece. Tragically, my honesty was weaponized against me.
We were shuttled endlessly between different reception centers. During this time, my wife became pregnant. We held onto the hope that the authorities would show compassion for our situation and for our unborn child. Instead, the hammer fell: we received a negative decision.
My asylum application was rejected. I was handed a deportation order to Egypt and a two-year entry ban from Europe. My wife’s application was also rejected; she was ordered back to Germany. They told us coldheartedly that even if our child were born on Dutch soil, it would change nothing. The fact that my family in Gaza is trapped in an active war zone seemed to mean absolutely nothing to them.
Desperate to prove who we are, I went to the Palestinian Embassy in the Netherlands and obtained official documents confirming my Palestinian nationality and the identity of my family in Gaza. I handed these papers to the authorities. Yet, it feels as though we are screaming into a void. No one is listening.
Is this fair? Why is this happening when all I ever wanted was to build a stable, quiet life for myself, my wife, and our daughter? Why am I being condemned for a prison sentence I served unjustly in Greece? I had hoped the Dutch authorities would help me prove my innocence, but instead, they simply wronged me again.
Where are human rights? Where are the rights of a child? Where are the rights of a woman?
I have lodged an appeal and am now awaiting the judge’s decision. In the meantime, the stress, anxiety, and suffocating uncertainty mount every single day. I am constantly terrified of what tomorrow will bring. I have been stripped of my right to work and my freedom of movement is heavily restricted.
Then, the breaking point came. One day, I received devastating news. In a flash of pure despair, unable to contain the agony inside me, I smashed a television and damaged the door. It was inside my own room—not someone else's. I harmed no one.
The center staff called the police. They knew my wife was nine months pregnant. When the officers arrived, I told them myself. My wife looked them in the eyes and told them that I would go with them voluntarily and respectfully. I had not used violence against a single soul. I remained calm because I believed I would simply give a statement at the station and return to her. Yet, they treated us as if we were dangerous. They treated a heavily pregnant woman as a threat.
This is my story. I feel that my wife, my daughter, my family in Gaza, and I have been deeply, profoundly wronged by the system. But I still believe that eventually, the truth will come to light. Justice cannot remain hidden forever.”
Baby Reem born premature (5 days after the attack)
Republicans in North Carolina just proposed a bill that says if a woman is caught with an IUD or attempts to get an abortion then men are allowed to use DEADLY FORCE to try and stop her. They are proposing a bill that will allow men to kill women for using birth control. It’s House Bill 1232. Keith Kidwell is the Republican who proposed the bill. He claims it counts as self defense to use deadly force to stop abortion. This is a man who claims to be pro life. Feel free to give his office a call and let him know how you feel about his opinion.
And for anyone who says “obviously this will never get passed” that’s not the point. The point is it’s fucking insanity that a government official would even try to make a law like this. It’s insanity that there are men out there who are trying to make it legal to kill women for making decisions for their own bodies. This is real and it’s happening right now in front of our eyes.
🚨 HOLY SHIT.
A U.S. citizen just testified before the Senate that ICE agents ignored his passport, detained him, placed him on suicide watch, and released him WITHOUT charges or explanation.
Read that again.
An AMERICAN CITIZEN says he showed agents his passport multiple times…
and still ended up locked in a cell under 24/7 lights, stripped naked, wearing a hospital gown while guards watched him constantly.
His family reportedly had no idea where he was.
Then after all of that?
No charges.
No explanation.
Just released.
