I thank God I was warring on the gridirons of the Midwest and not on the battlefields of Europe. I can speak confidently and positively that the players of this country would much more, much rather, struggle and fight to win the Heisman award than the Croix de Guerre.
What this should actually say is “Jerry Sandusky committed his life to sexually abusing children in the Penn State showers”, it’s baffling that theres Penn Staters who still support him
Jerry Sandusky committed his life to helping hundreds of young men on and off the field.
Out of those hundreds, 6 of them who were addicts, gamblers, and all around bad people, saw an opportunity to make some easy money.
The media bought it, you bought it, and they got it $$$$$
Penn State's first-year coach has a framed photo of Paterno in his office and has praised a new exhibit honoring the coach at Beaver Stadium. https://t.co/d3IsgCXhQL
This may be controversial but I don’t think we should be celebrating a man who covered for his assistant who was sexually abusing children, once again Penn State proving they a horrible school run by even worse people
Penn State has announced it is opening the Paterno Family Football Experience Room, a "permanent museum experience" to celebrate Penn State's football history.
The exhibit will open over 14 years after the school removed Joe Paterno's statue following Jerry Sandusky's crimes. https://t.co/bJ4e5Jidrb
Ignoring Viserys being here for some reason, the Oberyn fight is so hard to watch and read, one of the moments where I think the show may actually do it better just because Pascal is so good as Oberyn
@saffronswirls It’s crazy how young everyone is, even Ned and Catelyn I think are only in their thirties in the books but the craziest to me is Daenerys, her being only 14 and going through what she does is just insane to me
@saffronswirls Jon being 14 and young and impulsive is just such a big part of his character that I just find it so hard to see Kit as Jon later on when I rewatch. Season 1 specifically nails most everything for what they had to work with
There’s like two scenes where it’s hinted that Jerry is in a time loop / Groundhog Day situation but he’s just genuinely so dumb he can’t remember anything that happens
Every once in a while I remembered Dax Shepard actually exists outside of WAP and I’m shocked every single time, just feels like such a fake person, like someone historians would say is actually an amalgamation of multiple people
Jon Bernthal reveals he once stayed completely silent for months to play a mute character in a movie until a waiter's mistake finally made him break
Dax Shepard: Do you like the term "method actor"?
Jon Bernthal: It's bastardized and has nothing to do with the actual method
Dax Shepard: You didn't talk to anyone for months while playing a mute in a movie?
Jon Bernthal: Yeah, while living with the cast in Ireland, I used a notepad at dinner to ask 17 year old Tom Holland for lemon for my salmon, a guy accidentally squeezed it into my soda instead, and I finally broke
Ohhh ohhh the haters are sick ooh she got motion ooh she’s the greatest woman’s basketball player of all time ohh Caitlin Clark is just simply the greatest it’s not even close
