So deeply honored to have our words included in this art piece created by Zines in Stereo.
Indigenous people have existed on these lands long before colonial borders. Long before settlers. Long before conquistadors. Long before lost ships.

Jared Osder's "Let the Fire Burn" is a good documentary about what happened on May 13, 1985.
But I also suggest watching this with Tommy Oliver's doc "40 Years A Prisoner" which just came out in order to understand what precipitated the '85 bombing.
The story is far from over.
Glad to see my TL flooded w/people acknowledging what happened to MOVE 36 years ago today. Your calls for justice MUST also include the release of Mumia Abu-Jamal. He was the only journalist in the City who humanized MOVE and was targeted for that reason.

Today is Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Awareness Day. But we don't just want awareness, we NEED action.
Congress must renew VAWA. @POTUS must #StopLine3. Pipeline contractors have already been charged with sex trafficking.
Protect our women.

"They're trying to set an example with Mumia. They're trying to lynch this brother because he has the nerve to stand up and articulate the oppression that poor Blacks in Philadelphia have been experiencing. And like many in recent history who this system has to put to death,"
