A large part of my work as a campus pastor involves being present and building bridges in the college community. As a hint of success, George at the Student Center insisted today that I have a bit of the shepherd’s pie and peach cobbler he made.
Mobile office today until about 1:00 at the Mizzou Student Center. After that, probably giving a campus tour to these summer international students! I’m always glad to care for people in all their needs.
What’s new on the Wittenberg Door? I can’t call what is represented in 1713 communion based on what is missing. It’s amazing how quickly the errors spread. https://t.co/AmcjIGu8dH
What’s new on the Wittenberg Door? The liturgical development of the Anglican Book of Common Prayer 1549 exposes the drive for theological innovation which will please a wide variety of people, even if the change isn’t supported theologically. https://t.co/pHUL2F16Rp
Mobile office at the Mizzou Student Center until about 4:30. Lunch and Learn for any takers at 1:00. Fraternity Bible discussion about communion at 5:00. Let’s grow together!
What’s new on the Wittenberg Door? Within 12 years after the presentation of the Augsburg Confession, a Calvinist view of “the Lord’s Supper” emerged, specifically non sacramental in any historical sense. https://t.co/AYJC4o1Wbj
What’s new on the Wittenberg Door? I keep forgetting to promote posts here. The Reformation saw development of liturgy along three distinct tracks: Lutheran, Calvinist, and Anglican. https://t.co/WWIcwEVGos
