There was a deleted scene in ‘IT’ (2017) that was removed because it was considered too disturbing to include.

The scene was set in 1637 inside a wellhouse and showed the creature as a pale, half-formed human rather than as a clown.

A woman named Abigail was hiding inside the wellhouse with her baby when the creature found her.

It offered to spare Abigail and her other children if she surrendered the baby. She eventually turned away, unable to watch, as the creature began eating the child.

The scene reportedly ended with a crunch as the child’s cries suddenly stopped.
