But those religious differences would create a feed back loop for later generation making swedes more collectevist and danes more individualistic

Even to the point where modern atheist follow customs and patterns of behavior that they don't know have a religious origin. Ideas can also change values of a society.

Also some influence from Danish Pietism vs Sweden more Lutheran Orthodoxy approach to religion is to be counted in

Sweden at the time was divided between Lundensisk högkyrklighet and Uppsaliensisk lågkyrklighet. It was the low church pietist that supported the temperance movement.
