CAG पर लोगों को भरोसा था कि संवैधानिक संस्था है। उसका लाभ उठा कर राजनीति की गई। 2014 का लोकसभा चुनाव जीतने के बाद गुजरात विधानसभा में प्रधानमंत्री मोदी का स्वागत हुआ। वहां उन्होंने कहा था कि CAG की रिपोर्ट को लेकर राजनीति नहीं होनी चाहिए। उनके भीतर अपराध बोध रहा होगा। वरना कोई क्यों कहेगा कि संवैधानिक संस्था की रिपोर्ट का इस्तेमाल राजनैतिक हथियार के रूप में न हो। विनोद राय ने संवैधानिक संस्थाओं में प्रेस और जमात के भरोसे को छला है। इस आदमी की भूमिका की जाँच होनी चाहिए।
