"I won't pretend to be up here and defend Bryson. I'm not particularly fond of him. I think a lot of it's performative. I think a lot of it's for attention."
Rory McIlroy commented on Bryson DeChambeau’s two-shot penalty at Royal Birkdale and how he handled it. 🗣️
Training Camp “stats” are insane and ridiculous.
Used to think it was always just people joking, but now seeing them seriously reported.
You have no idea what the purpose of that period is, what the goals are, what the context is, etc.
It could be a strictly 3rd & Long blitz period where every play is skewed to the defenses advantage. Coaches could be asking the QB to focus specifically on one route concept. DLine may be focusing only on bull rushes one day or just speed rushes for one period.
More importantly, practice is for practicing. You’re supposed to fail. You’re supposed to try new things, see what works and what doesn’t work, etc. If you only do what works, you’ll never grow, adapt, change.
The entire point of training camp is to build and grow towards the season so that you perform your best when the real games start.
Did You Know; The trademark “Tush Push” is actually owned by an Eagles fan named Deanna Slamans from Hershey, PA. She trademarked the phrase 2 weeks before the Eagles submitted theirs in November 2023, beating them to the punch.
She says she reached out to the team early on to make a deal, but got no response. She currently sells a variety of Tush Push related merchandise on her website.

Of course that's your contention. You're a first-year offensive coordinator; you just got finished reading some spread historian, Mouse Davis probably. You're gonna be convinced of that 'till next month when you get to Hal Mumme. Then you're going to be talking about how the offenses of Iowa Wesleyan and Valdosta State were entrepreneurial and capitalist way back in 1995. That's gonna last until next year; you're gonna be in here regurgitating Mike Leach, talkin' about, you know, the pre-revolutionary utopia and the capital-forming effects of military mobilization.
"We're getting better & better..
That game against the Eagles was a battle & we all felt like we were gonna win that game 29-28..
They got it done & they looked pretty damn good in the NFC Championship & the Super Bowl..
That REALLY chapped my ass" 😂😂
