Even if you turn the volume down on this to a 3 (Iβm not familiar with Brynn Tannehill or several of the things she mentions), itβs still an βoh, f#%kβ.
@KyleClark I thought my husband was joking when he said it was going to be 3x warmer where he was going this morning (Black Hawk with its balmy 18 degrees). -9 in Westminster before you factor in wind chill??! π₯Άπ₯Άπ₯Ά WITW?
@weareYONAKA I canβt choose! Ordinary, Greedy, By the Time Youβre Reading This, Seize the Power, FWTBβ¦just so many good ones.
Pic from backstage at the Denver show, right? Iβm so sorry I didnβt get to meet you in person (I was able to meet Alex, though).
Doug has a wonderful legacy that will continue to do good for many, many dogs. He (and Matt) have many fans, of which I am but one. Wherever you are, Doug, stay unique. You and your one floppy ear will be greatly missed. @dogrates@dogfather
Doug passed away Tuesday afternoon. He could no longer walk on his own and he told us it was time. He went so peacefully. He felt no pain. The sun was shining.
It was such an honor to be Doug's person. He taught me infinitely more than I taught him. I adopted him knowing he wouldn't be with me long, and I'm so incredibly grateful we got 3 years. We made the most of them.
Doug's presence had such a weight to it. He was impossible to ignore for many reasons, his size only one of them. I told him the foundation he inspired will help dogs well beyond his time here. I think he always thought that was pretty cool.
You're stardust again, Douggy. Come back to me in whatever form you like. I'll know it's you. And to whoever is with him now, please give him your love. He gave so much of his. 15/10 β€οΈ
@dogfather@dog_rates Iβm so glad you were able to have this light moment in the grief. Anyone familiar would absolutely know this was the right call. β€οΈ to you both Doug is a rockstar and will always be a 15/10.
