BREAKING: After the release of an ad that caused Trump's tantrum ending trade talks with Canada, the original video of Ronald Reagan slamming tariffs has resurfaced. He called the new ad "fake."

The original destroys Trump on tariffs.

Ever noticed how the night sky isn’t as dark as it used to be? That’s light pollution and it’s a growing problem for wildlife. 🌆

From sea turtles to migrating birds, artificial light confuses animals, messes with sleep, and can even disrupt entire ecosystems. 🐢🐦

The good news? We can fix it. Dimming unnecessary lights, using smarter lighting, and protecting dark areas can make a big difference, for nature and for us.

Support Bonnie Critchley - local Albertan running as an Independent against PP in Battle River-Crowfoot.
I much prefer a local independent for my MP than the #StornowaySquatter playing #CowboyCosplay!
Donate & help her beat him in Round 2!
That would be EPIC

[Ontario NDP @OntarioNDP]

Today, Ontario NDP Deputy Leader Sol Mamakwa was removed from the legislature for his opposition to Bill 5.

He was removed for saying the Premier was telling "untruths" about respecting the duty to consult.

Since Bill 5 was announced, First Nations leaders have been sounding the alarm about the dangers of this Bill.

If brought into law, it would create "Special Economic Zones" that would give the government the power to override any law it wants, including the duty to consult.

If the Premier did in fact respect treaty rights and the duty to consult, he would know and do better.

He would consult and bring First Nations leaders to the table **before** proposing new legislation, not after.

Simply put, Bill 5 is severely flawed. It's Trump-Style Politics, Ford-Stye Power Grab, and it's got to go.

➡️ UPDATE: Over 80,000 emails have now been sent through our online action calling on the government to Scrap Bill 5. Let's keep going.

Anyone advocating for Alberta separation from Canada, especially Danielle Smith and Alberta legislature, should pack their bags and renounce their citizenship. They can leave but the land will stay.

The land belongs to First Nations and the treaties are with the Crown. #cdnpoli #AlbertaSeparation

Viljam Pylkäs was an ordinary Finnish farmer from Karelian Isthmus and a veteran of Winter War.

He lost his home to russians and because of this, hated russia from the bottom of his heart.

In this thread I'll tell his story and about the incident that made him famous.
