If you look at William singing Whitney’s ‘I Have Nothing’ through a musical theater lens, it works because he’s completely immersed in the story he’s telling. Every emotion and every line feels lived in.

To this day, I still love the voice he used here when he sang "ooooh, you drive me crazy". Best believe I love his high notes but I'd like to hear his other vocal ranges too.

He has a beautiful voice and it has an alluring quality. He should be given a chance to explore those ranges as well.

I never wanted to speak my mind on this subject because whatever you say about the band gets twisted on these streets but I can't hold back anymore.

I just watched a Scottish vocal coach who had never heard of William before reacting to William's Flashback Live Session. While the overall vocal analysis was wonderful and the coach was really in love with William's voice, it made me so sad when the coach mentioned that some parts of his performance was off because he puts a lot of strain in his voice😭😭

I wanted to yell out that his voice was not in its best shape when he recorded that 😭😭😭 I felt so bad because I knew William at his best could easily clear those notes. Its like seeing your straight A student given a B on a project because they did their project when they were not in tip top shape🫠

Uggghhhh riser will crumble for turning him into nothing but a tool for high notes over and over again. We never get to see his vocal range anymore in group songs cus all they make him to is take the high notes that no one else can sing and have him mostly sing backing vocals and runs. And he is then expected to replicate those high notes live during back to back concert performances😭😭

In my opinion its an unforgivable waste of his talent and I don't give af if people come for me for saying this.

The more William gets noticed by wider audiences from different musical spheres who want to check out his work the more I wish he was given the opportunity to be at his best shape when performing his solo songs especially.

My prayer is that that label do not wreck William's voice before he has the chance to create the music he really wants to make🫠🫠🫠

the discussion about william and his knee, vocals, health, and solo work honestly makes my heart ache 😞 we’ve been talking about this almost every week, and it’s not just complaining anymore. it’s the fact that everyone’s starting to notice it too, even ppl outside our fandom. i’m even scared to say that i want some solo work for him bcs i know some ppl will judge me for it, but he really is missing out on a lot of things.

i rmb during the lykn con in mnl, some of the high notes were taken by tui bcs william passed them and honestly i’m glad he did. it gave william a chance to rest his vocals esp since they had the osaka tour right after. and honestly, the other members can hit the high notes too, so it’s not like everything has to fall on william.
