@TytokiArts@ehepocket Everything we’ve seen has suggested that this is an innate power they have rather than being specifically their eyes. Plus part of the criticism is them jumping from being tech wizz proxies to now just using their superpowers in combat. So no, not really expanding their skills.
@ripalek@slversteam234@iKaito_1 Because that’s their business model. You convert to one currency then have to buy for the other. It’s scummy, but it’s always been like that. That’s how gacha games work. You just have to exercise some patience and wait for the banner you want and let it auto convert when pulling
@ripalek@slversteam234@iKaito_1 I’ve already said that it is a little scummy to introduce a new currency, but there is some level of player accountability involved when the game already doesn’t incentivize converting asterites. (2/2)
@ripalek@slversteam234@iKaito_1 It’s not a false equivalency, though. It’s showing that there’s precedent for multiple banner currencies, which immediately negates the need to convert asterites. (1/2)
@ripalek@slversteam234@iKaito_1 It’s a little scummy, but the different currencies for the character and weapon banners make converting pointless in the first place, which makes this complaint invalid. If it’s that predatory, then so is the separate currencies for characters and weapons.
@ripalek@slversteam234@iKaito_1 Except WuWa already has multiple pull currencies. If you convert to Radiant Tides, you can’t pull on the weapon banner. This “issue” has already been a thing for ages, but people are only making a fuss now because they got impatient.
@TimelySeed If you think that’s fast, WuWa debuted Lynae in 3.0, then gave her her first rerun in 3.2.
Meanwhile back with ZZZ Harumasa found dead in ditch.
@ariadotwav They removed the AI overview from the “All” tab, and now it’s prioritizing stuff from the news tab, which of course is a bunch of articles on Google’s AI doing AI things, which for their brand image (what’s left of it) is just as bad.
