I used to be the Airborne Communications Officer on NAOC. I tracked tail number 787 from Offutt to Andrews yesterday myself. At first, it looked like it was heading overseas because the flight path was well north of DC moving almost due east. It got to just east of Harrisburg, PA and turned south and landed.
