CEO of the Institute for Sustainability Leadership, Lindsey Hooper, claims that water, soil, and oxygen should not be infinitely accessible. She proposes classifying them as assets and placing them on a global balance sheet.
โSo, the stories about having to pay for a breath of air will soon no longer be gloomy jokes, but a very real prospect.โ
Erin Brockovich has launched a website and has begun tracking all data centers in America and logging resident complaints
In just 1 week itโs already logged 1,690 resident complaints
For this who donโt remember
Erin Brockovich was the paralegal responsible for winning out a case against PG&E, Hinckley in California, because their wastewater runoff was seeping into rural areas and creating a lot of health issues for, for the surrounding neighborhoods
That case brought in a $333 million settlement that went to the families affected by the situation because a lot of them either had staggering medical bills due to their tap water was no longer safe
So why is this important, well residents all over America are reporting their tap water and river water is being heavily polluted by data centers
Her map of data centers is new, she just launched it
The website features an interactive US map showing operational, under-construction, and proposed AI data centers, overlaid with community-reported complaints
Residents can submit reports with details, photos, and locations. Within days of launch, it received a surge of submissions over 1,600 in the first week, and reports of 1,800+ from 47 states shortly after
Common Resident Complaints Being Logged
- Water usage
- Raising utility bills for residents
- Noise pollution: Constant 24/7 humming from fans, generators, and cooling systems disrupting sleep, daily life, and wildlife.
- E-waste from frequent hardware upgrades, pollution including PFAS concerns

@JesterJum This is such ragebait. You cannot judge the results based on how it looks immediately post gettig it. The swelling is normal and will go down in a few weeks time. Clearly, u have no idea how filler works and probably can't even tell when someone has it bc it usually looks natural
@DreamCJen I can't even pick because they're all so stunning. I also love how they all clearly have a little filler, but its designed to enhance each of their unique faces instead of making them all look the same. Love the versatility!
@YourAnonNews I think everyone who is not a billionaire will agree with this. The problem is that the only people that matter to him are the billionaires...
@RyanFedasiuk@AsiaPolicy If that graph didn't already explain it, I'll put it into simple terms - there's never been a more important time to export US chips to China IN ORDER to restrain their compute. The less we give them, the more they build themselves.
Not only was DOGE illegally accessing your Social Security information, but it was also illegally offering to share it with third-party political groups working to overturn elections.
This is a deep betrayal of the public trust and must be fully investigated.
Wildlife depends on trees and forests. Trees provide nesting sites, food, habitat and shelter for a wide variety of animals. From the smallest insects to large predators, everything is represented. We need the protection of existing forests and reforestation worldwide.๐๐ฒ๐ฑ๐๐ณ
Banks are paying depositors 0.1% interest while charging 7% for mortgages and 25% on credit cards โ all while they get guaranteed 4% returns at the Fed.
