The Knicks' offensive production has dropped across the board with Jalen Brunson on the floor in the NBA Finals 😳
The biggest drop has come from Brunson himself, who is shooting 37% in the Finals after shooting nearly 50% over the first three rounds.
If Brunson hadn’t kept his cool and had run up on Wemby, the refs would’ve snap called a tech on Jalen, reviewed the play & 100% have given Wemby a flagrant.
Instead, Brunson was a pro and Wemby gets to completely skate on it. Doesn’t seem right to me.
In 2009, Chad Tracy's father, Jim Tracy took over a team midseason after the previous manger was fired. The club found itself double digit games under .500 by the first week of June, and their young shortstop coming off an injury plagued season the year before was hitting .218.
A week into June of that year, the shortstop changed his batting stance to include a new toe tap for timing. Then on June 8th, he hit his first HR using the new toe tap and never looked back. Today, on June 8th, Marcelo Mayer entered the game hitting .218, and hit his first HR using the new toe tap.
The shortstop was Troy Tulowitzki and the team was the 2009 Rockies, who went on to win 92 games.
"The best player in this series for the Knicks is KAT. The 2nd-best is OG. The 3rd, we can possibly go and say is Brunson." 👀
Boogie Cousins says Jalen Brunson has not done enough to win Finals MVP 🗣️

Jalen Brunson going 7-25 in the finals and gets called The King of New York. Tatum goes 11-24 or 11-26 and “Tatum stans” are treated like the spawn of Satan if we defend him. That shit makes me sick
