Grateful that the second and final paper from my MSc was published today in @EnvSciTech!! We compare recent river monitoring data (sediment metals) to pre-industrial baselines to assess for pollution in the Athabasca River, Alberta Oil Sands Region.
Publishing data from your masters, two years post-grad, is hard. I'm incredibly thankful for my amazing team of supervisors, coauthors & collaborators who helped the process tremendously 🥰🎉
Excited to announce that I will officially be starting law school this fall at UBC's @AllardLaw! Looking forward to starting this new academic journey 🎉
The Supreme Court's decision today that pricing pollution is constitutional sets a new precedent!! Using the law to help strengthen climate action makes me very hopeful about future environmental policy in Canada!
This so easy: takes 2 min to call your MPP today to say NO to a free pass to destroy protected wetlands & wildlife—Say NO to Ford’s Schedule 3 in Bill 257 @envirodefence @ecojustice_ca @SheilaBoudreau @KirkwoodLab https://t.co/UHIJl0eetV
Happy #InternationalWomensDay! #POLAR celebrates women in #STEM, women in the North and beyond, who are shaping the future through their leadership and by sharing their invaluable knowledge.
I respect our President and his team so much. I love how open the post was and that he acknowledged we have never had to scale like this before. Transparency is appreciated. https://t.co/bPEaH3BwpH
@branden0walker The biggest issues are usually changing the shape of the airfoil! Added snow alters the aerodynamic shape of the wing, decreasing lift. eek be safe!
@CylitaGuy@AnnickPress@HighParkNC This is the BEST news!! So exciting! I’m definitely going to need a copy to bring in to my outdoor ecology sci comm with Guides
Can anyone ID this beetle? I see tons of them on my morning bike commute along the trail valley parkway in London, On!
And more importantly, why are they so abundant right now!?
My mum in conversation with Elizabeth May, asking about how May plans to influence people to make smart environmental choices!
So proud of her for doing this in front of so many people!! 💚 🍁
