@JPLindsley Every time I watch one of those elaborate Chinese drone shows with thousands of drones I think I'm watching a military exercise that we do not have an answer for.
I asked my friend Claude to play out what would happen if every single-party state got into the gerrymandering war. GOP gains 8-18 seats via gerrymander, Dems gain 6-12 via gerrymander. Net win of 2-10 seats for GOP. @grok , what do you think?

According to my conversation with @grok, even if there were ~18M illegal immigrants and all of them were counted in the last census and all were eliminate from this census, the total amount of seats impacted would be ~6.
Estimates suggest ~18.6M unauthorized immigrants in 2025, impacting only 4–6 seats (e.g., CA-2/3, TX-1/2, FL-1). Losses hit both Democratic and Republican states, with a near-zero partisan swing. Even extreme gerrymandering or voter suppression might yield 10–15 seats
I love that I missed the first half of a game between the Braves & Mets on a Friday night, but I already knew the Braves were winning because it’s Friday night and the Braves are playing the Mets
@HolyPostPodcast @esaumccaulley Loved @esaumccaulley ‘s take on Christians and politics. What if the political parties were not able to count on blind support from Christians? What if the parties actually had to earn votes instead of relying on fear and pandering to manipulate? Sign me up!
If you are looking for some productive ways to approach the dreaded 'politics and religion' conversations this Thanksgiving, might I recommend...

It is comforting to know that, no matter how crazy the world gets, I can still count on this: the Braves absolutely own the Mets

@DocJS @BravesOnBally @PeterMoylan Thanks for the clarification. I prefer Mini Maddog, but Maple Maddux is also excellent. Last time I saw this guy's face, I think it was on a milk carton. Def glad he's back.
