Today, our long-range sanctions worked across three areas on Russian territory, as well as on our temporarily occupied land and at sea. In particular, in response to Russian strikes on our civilian infrastructure and on our cities and communities, two major logistics facilities were hit – in the Moscow and Tambov regions, more than 500 and nearly 700 kilometers from the front line. The aggressor used them to supply sanctioned components for drone production and navigation equipment. An oil facility was also struck. In addition, Ukrainian mid-range strikes engaged targets in the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea, and in our temporarily occupied Crimea.

I thank the warriors of the Unmanned Systems Forces, the Special Operations Forces, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine – every unit of Ukraine's Defense Forces – for their precise and coordinated execution of these missions. As of now, two people are confirmed to have been killed in Kyiv in last night's Russian missile strike. My condolences to their families and loved ones. Five people have been injured, including a child. The Russians have damaged a residential high-rise, warehouse facilities, and vehicles. Russian strikes on the Kharkiv region have left four people injured. The region was attacked with drones and a guided aerial bomb. Ordinary homes and entirely civilian sites have been damaged, including a movie theater and tennis courts. In Sumy, a public park was struck, and in the region, a tractor brigade was targeted. Apartment buildings were damaged in Zaporizhzhia. Damage has been reported at power grid facilities in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, and Donetsk regions.

In total, the Russians launched 13 missiles, including eight ballistic ones, and 151 drones. This was already the sixth ballistic attack on Kyiv in July alone. Moscow is counting on ballistic terror and continues its strikes, so it's critical now to speed up deliveries of interceptors for our air defense. Every package matters, and everything we have agreed with our partners must arrive on time. The swiftness of these deliveries helps save our people’s lives and takes the fight out of Russia. The application, candidate status, accession negotiations, opening of two clusters and every one that follows – that’s definitely going to happen. Yet long before any of this, it had already become clear that the hearts of Ukraine and Europe had long been open to one another. Opening all the clusters will simply formalize this. We are certain of it. Because Ukraine and Europe are one.

And on this difficult path, Ukraine is not alone. Ukraine deeply values everyone who helps us move forward along this road. And we will always remember their contribution to our shared future. As of today, these are no longer just words – this has now been officially recognized. I have signed the relevant law.

Ukraine is giving a fully justified response to Russia striking our country and prolonging the war.

Today, our long-range sanctions reached the Saratov region, Tatarstan, and Bashkortostan – roughly 800, 1,400, and 1,500 kilometers from the front line. They also reached the Voronezh region – about 300 kilometers from our border.

I thank the warriors of the Unmanned Systems Forces and the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and our intelligence agencies for their accuracy.

The Saratov oil refinery was hit. Warriors of the Special Operations Forces struck an oil refinery in Tatarstan.

Russians must feel that their state is waging this war. I thank everyone who helps defend Ukraine!
