One of my most rewarding projects in 18 years of owning my Real Estate company was the forming of Grand Junction Properties. A consumer focused resource that helped connect property owners with tenants during the slow early years of downtown Westfield Indiana. There is a broker that refuses to respond to other brokers in our area. Its so frustrating and unprofessional. Can you imagine how easy it would be to sell something with other brokers working on it?
I am currently going through the resi mortgage process with myself and also our kids on a house. Its not fluid and its not clear. The Realtors race around 24/7 to get the deal done and then every process after that is at someones elses pace.
I want a note daily from the lender
I want the lender to be pushing to get to close not waiting to hear for a clear to close
I want title company asking lots of questions
I actually want the closing statement before closing day

I am shocked how many local people in my industry that I really don’t know. After nearly 20 years of selling real estate I am still networking with new brokers, developers and investors that had run parallel to me all this time. We may recognize each other from social media or emails but actually sitting down for a few minutes and talking still brings me great joy. Networking has changed and become more difficult for me so taking time like this is even more important.
