This weeks social communication target is 'turn taking' You can take turns when washing the dishes🍽️but it's a bit more fun when playing games🎲! Have a go at Headbandz (asking questions to guess an object/person). There are lots of other games too! @SpinMaster @WestKirbySchool

This weeks social communication target is Listening to Each Other👂🦻. During the #coronavirus #lockdown we need to support each other+listen. Anxious, worried, nervous, scared. It is important to listen to worries + sort into what we can+can't control to help with these feelings

This weeks social communication target is Eye Contact 👀and Body Language🧍. Have a go at practising these skills while playing roll the dice 🎲and answering the questions. (you can use as many dice as you want). Use Social Thinking theory to help! @WestKirbySchool

This weeks social communication target is winning/ losing and compromise 🤝Compromise means you win a little bit and you lose a little bit. It can be difficult to compromise but it makes things fair. This is really important at the moment! As we are spending lots of time together

For parents/older kids, we have put 'virtual' versions of the original Articulate cards online at https://t.co/e7WtvuE91m for lockdown, to help people play remotely via Zoom etc. with friends and family.
