@929TheGame@steakshapiro 2 Questions
1) Can’t the Falcons renegotiate Cousins and pay him a bonus to alleviate the cap situation?
2) Malik Willis, an Atlanta native will be an unrestricted free agent, is he worth going after?
@CThomasRadio Then we have to Cousins to a 2 year deal so the rookie can learn. Ridder can be fixed with coaching, it will be another Brett Farve situation if we give up on him.
@atlantabirdgang I agree about Fields, in fact by the stats, he is not a good quarterback. In the draft we need an edge rusher. If we had a legit edge rusher we might have won 2 of the 3 games we lost in the final minutes, where the Falcons were ahead and this QB crisis would not be a topic.
@929TheGame@DukesandBell929@putemupcdukes@JohnFricke@CThomasRadio You guys are giving the Falcons defense a pass. ATL was ahead in Minnesota, Tampa and Carolina games. The lack of a legit edge rusher allowed those teams to march down the field. A legit edge rusher would have impacted those games.
Returning on international trip through MIA on AA is a disaster. Connecting domestic flight traffic is forced back out to general security for RE-screening. ATL is the way to go.
@putemupcdukes@AtlantaFalcons I like Ridley a lot, but we need to try and trade him for a good promising DE, this would make the whole defense a lot better. We have not had a good DE since John Abraham. Ridley is going to want some $$ next year and Falcons won’t be able to pay him, let’s get some value now.
@putemupcdukes I’m not a Saints fan, but the NFL overtime rules are not fair. OT rules should not involve an element of luck, being the coin toss. KC got screwed by this last year, the Falcons got screwed in the Super Bowl.
