To celebrate Eid, we tried some typical food that would be eaten during the celebration and created our own Mehndi designs.

To celebrate Earth day, this afternoon we made natural collages using only things we could find outside. We created some brilliant collages using our imagination.

We painted hearts using water colours to show what we thought love would look like. We gave some brilliant explanations of our choices and produced some lovely artwork.

In English we had clues hidden around our classroom about our new story. We had to find the answers and make a prediction about what we think our story will be about. Some of us think it might be about a dragon or devil as the character has horns, sharp teeth and scales.

In Maths this morning we investigated whether taller containers had a bigger capacity.

In Geography we have been using compass directions to find points on a map. We found where each animal was found on the African safari.

Class 4 were brilliant in gymnastics this afternoon making different shapes and balancing.

Class 3 WLA - Science experiment 'How do germs spread?' We love investigating this using glitter to represent the germs.
We learnt about washing our hands to remove most germs - seeing glittery water repel from a washing up liquid covered finger.

In science we conducted an investigation to find out about how germs spread. Half of our class started with germs (glitter) on their hands and we wanted to see how far they would pass it on. In the end everyone had germs on them so we learnt how important it is to wash our hands!

Class 4 had a brilliant morning taking part in an art workshop in celebration of the Holi festival. We created some beautiful Diya pots.
