More details have emerged about the Binance hack, which became the largest in crypto history.

Hackers created a shell company, had two calls with an exchange engineer, and sent a test assignment with a virus, reaching other employees and the crypto transaction signing system through the infected computer.

The attack was prepared for several months, with the first traces found in June. Binance absorbed all losses, provided reserves of over 100% of the losses, and has already restored 98% of the affected tokens.
