๐Go on a listening walk and see if you can hear any signs of spring ๐Listening - and being able to distinguish one sound from another - is an important part of learning to talk.

As well as offering a welcoming space to connect & share experiences, Peep TALK groups are also lots of fun! Parents will leave with a toolkit of handouts, activities, video clips & practical tips to support their child's communication.

Our first PEEP session exploring helping children to understand & manage their feelings was a huge success this morning. Look at our amazing emotion spoons @PeepleCentre@Peeple_Laura @wl_elc @WL_UNCRC@WL_Equity#BeingMe
Some of our Early Level Practitioners had great fun today welcoming Daniel from @community_play to experience how Block Play can develop creativity, problem-solving, mathematical understanding, communication and self and social development.

Delighted to see our ELC Leaders of Pedagogy come together today to network, share practice and collaborate. The buzz in the room to improve outcomes for our youngest learners was palpable. Continuing #magicweaving!
This week is #LibrariesWeek!
Taking babies and toddlers to the library is a great use of time and as part of a routine it helps to encourage reading together.
You'll often find RhymeTime or even a Peep group at a library. It's also a great place to connect with other parents.
The everyday conversations that you have with your child are often rich in maths language โ these will help your child to understand maths ideas as well as the words used to describe them.
Maths is so much more than numbers!

Changing nappies is something we often do on autopilot, but it's also a chance to spend some bite-sized 1:1 bonding time with your little one too.
Nappy time is full of opportunities to sing, chat and play with children...and support their development.
