@m6_steve @OFFICIALWMAS Hi Steve! There’s not a set amount of words. We try to make all of our notes whilst the patient is speaking to us and keep them as short and to the point as possible with only key info such as medical history, access details, safety notes for the crew for a few examples.
If you’re interested in applying for a role as a call assessor and have any questions, please send them my way! Happy to help and answer anything about the job 🙂
When you call @officialwmas on 999 or 111, the first voice you hear is that of a call assessor. Their job is to find out what's wrong, where you are & arrange the most appropriate help.

Very happy to say, after 2 years of being an assistant supervisor, I have succeeded in another secondment, this time to supervisor! 🎉
This now means that both our control rooms have 3 999 supervisors on every shift to assist all our call assessors!

The abuse our call assessors receive every single day is disgusting. No one deserves this.
Remember,
I am a call assessor but I am also someone’s wife, daughter, aunty and a real person. We don’t deserve abuse.
Bernie is one of the call assessors on my team. It was an awful time for her to go through COVID and although it still affects her, she’s not letting it stop her! Absolutely smashing it!
Not work related but two things very close to my heart!
My husband and many others are speaking out about trans allyship in football alongside @WBALGBT
We can all be a trans ally and these guys are doing fantastic work 🏳️⚧️🏳️⚧️
@_Thomas_V999 I’m sorry to hear this has happened to you Thomas. Glad to hear you’re getting the help you need and if you ever need to chat, my inbox is open
