Welcome November! The days are getting shorter, we'll get an extra hour of sleep this weekend, and our "Pay-What-You-Can" Farmstand presented by @BankofAmerica will be open every Wed from 2-5pm. Come check out our fall produce including cabbage greens, lettuce, kale and more! 🥬

We spent the morning #gleaning sweet potatoes & working to #EndHunger as part of #YamJam with @societystandrew. Gave ourselves a 100 bag goal & ended with 101 bags. That’s over 1,000 pounds of sweet potatoes that will provide over 3,000 servings of food. Finlay repped @wmmsffa

This morning @WestMillbrook agriculture students are at Camp Chestnut Ridge learning about lake ecosystems, owl pellets, and NC wildlife!

Students had a blast at the October FFA meeting yesterday afternoon! Next week, we will be voting on the top 10 painted pumpkins to determine a winner - more information to come!

The Food Products class @WestMillbrook is halfway through their garden to table projects. Over the next month they will continue to harvest, can, or prepare food with the produce they have grown from seed. They will also incorporate eggs from our chicken coop!
