Last night I attended two flooding incidents due to an extreme weather event over Church Stretton and Wellington. A huge thank you to crews and @SFRS_Control for their excellent response and compassion to their communities.
An effective multi agency response. @ShropshireStar

I had the pleasure to meet and spend time with @dharford79 yesterday at @WestMerciaSAR Tom Jones Festival of Sport.
Dave was very kindly chief photo guru under his @Dharford79S guise.

#FloatToLive:
- Tilt your head back with ears submerged
- Relax - try to control your breathing
- Move your hands to help stay afloat
- Once over the initial shock, call for help or swim to safety
- Call 999 or 112 & ask for the coastguard.
