💔 My heart is heavy today hearing about K9 Roam from Colorado Springs Police Department. Just 18 months old — still a baby in police dog years and too young for a stab vest apparently — Roam was stabbed multiple times while helping to bring a suspect safely into custody. He suffered terrible injuries to his head, neck and abdomen, and is now in critical but stable condition after emergency surgery and blood transfusions.
Reading those words hits me hard. Because I’ve been there.
When my own partner Finn was stabbed in the line of duty, I remember every second — the chaos, the disbelief, the fear that I might lose him right there in front of me. Finn’s courage that night inspired Finn’s Law, to protect police animals like him and Roam.
Roam’s bravery reminds the world again what these incredible dogs do for us every single day. They run toward danger without hesitation — for their handlers, for their teams, and for their communities.
Please join me in sending every bit of love, hope and strength to Roam, his handler and the Colorado Springs Police Department. 🐾💙
These dogs are family. Their courage is real. Their sacrifice should never be forgotten.
👉 If you’re new here, you can learn more about Finn’s story — how he was stabbed while protecting me, how he survived, and how his legacy continues to fight for all service animals.

Reports of a possible burglary, turned out to be suspects- breaking into a cannabis farm.
Divisional patrols attended and detained 2 in the commission of the offence.
PD Kyp attended and tracked the 3rd, who was brought down to earth from the top of a fence.🐾🐾
The nominal gains in stocks that amaze the talking heads on @CNBC are a monetary illusion. In terms of real money, stocks are in a historic bear market. Priced in gold, the Dow has fallen from nearly 45 ounces in 1999 to about 11 ounces today. That’s a 75% decline over 26 years!
Scott Bessent has it backwards. Now that China has made the good decision to trade less with the U.S. and more with the rest of the world, its economy is about to boom. Selling to customers who can actually afford to pay is better business than selling to customers who can't!
Scott Bessent said he is not worried about the rise in gold. He also praised Alan Greenspan for keeping interest rates low. I guess he doesn't understand that Greenspan's excessively easy monetary policy is what caused the 2008 GFC. The coming dollar crisis will be much worse.
Jamie Dimon said gold could easily go to $10K and "this is one of the few times in my life it’s semi-rational to have some in your portfolio.” Gold above $4.2K proves for his entire life it was completely rational to have some in your portfolio; Dimon just didn't understand why.
