@johanvos@carldea Java Desktop Autoupdate maybe? Which is inexistent since ever and not easy to manage by a developer itself. So, easy deployment on desktop will give it a boost. Imho.
- FXGL: I'm sending you 10M particles...😄
- JavaFX: sure, no problem, we did that last time.👍

@j_e_willis @robovm There's nothing that @RoboVM could do back in the days that #OpenJFX and @GluonHQ can't today with modern #Java.
Check out their amazing work in bringing true #Java rich client applications to mobile devices with #JavaFX.
@johanvos@hhsandbaek we love it too #javafx but promoting it again and again in this way is just doing the opposite than making it attractive. you need a professional marketing guy for this great technology. who sells a car by telling its safe, future proof... ? for the mass - create emotions.
Thanks to the publisher it s not used as the cover :-) It looks horrible. also there is no need anymore to argue if javafx is dead or not. Missing are some really really polished and cool applications for 'consumers'. Developers are adopting technologies of shiny apps.
