Main 1st half takeaway: offensive game plan / play calling very sound and balanced. Open receivers. Good mix of run/pass.

Murray & Co. have missed a few "gimmies" and that is spoiling it a little.

Tighter execution in 2nd half will = win. IND allowed 26 2nd half pts last week.

@Skypipe20 I’ll watch the film and that will inform further opinions. I expect to see open receivers that weren’t targeted and too many inaccurate throws, which leads me to blame player execution more than play calls.

- Elite defense
- Very good special teams
- Substandard offense

But, most importantly:

- Undefeated

Vikings play calling has been solid so far in 1st half.

50/50 run pass, a lot of open receivers.

Some missed assignments and poor execution masking how good the play calls have been.

@JTanoka Murry has missed a couple easy throws ... one near the end zone. Some dropped passes, too. Factor that into the analysis.

Earlier in 2nd quarter, Vikings had both Dallas Turner and Harrison Smith go unblocked on a pressure call.

That right there tells you opposing teams are confused on how to block Flores' schemes.
