Jazz I took 2nd Place behind only Interlochen School for the Arts for their efforts, and Junior Thomas Tran was selected as Best Tenor Saxophonist!!!

Congratulations to Junior Thomas Tran who was selected as the Outstanding Performer in the Holland Concert Jazz Orchestra High School Jazz Solo Festival. For this honor , Thomas will receive a scholarship and be a featured soloist at the 4/21 HCJO Concert @ 3pm at Park Theater.

Congratulations to Thomas Tran who was chosen by audition as the ONLY Tenor Saxophonist to be in the U of M Jazz Ambassadors Summer Jazz Intensive. Thomas will spend an immersive week with U of M's Jazz Faculty and pro Jazz Trumpeter Ingrid Jensen.

Congratulations to Junior Tenor Saxophonist Thomas Tran for being named Honorable Mention for the MSBOA All-State Jazz Band! Only 2 tenor players were selected to the band and two named honorable mention. To be one of the top four in the state as a junior is a HUGE honor!!

His energy was contagious, and he did an amazing job articulating ways in which we could make meaningful improvements in our playing.
