Is there an underrated aspect where LLMs becoming increasingly superhuman at obviously heavily g-loaded tasks, while the physical world stays broadly unchanged, should actually be updating us in favor of the “world transformation isn’t actually intelligence bottlenecked” hypothesis? Possibly to a sufficient extent that it nets to longer timelines despite capability progress?

Like if tomorrow we actually put the country of geniuses in the datacentre then clearly P(transformative change soon) is higher, but if after a year the physical world looks broadly the same then P(transformative change soon) is probably lower, and possibly lower than before the unveiling

I feel like I can’t put into words how incredibly wild this is.

$2,000 is obviously not a small amount of money for someone, but to achieve 10 new scientific/mathematical proofs … that’s a breakthrough in and of itself.

I’d call it 11 breakthroughs achieved here.
