Solana (@solana) is a high-performance blockchain network optimized for decentralized applications. Its main features are:

- Proof-of-stake model
- Processing transactions at up to 3,000 TPS (theoretically able to hit 710,000 TPS)
- Created for DeFi and Gaming (super scalable)

Note: Solana has faced security issues and has been a target for hackers. The frequency of such events has even spurred memes about the network.
Polygon (@0xPolygonLabs) is a Layer 2 scaling solution for Ethereum, enabling faster and cheaper transactions with:

- Up to 7,000 TPS
- Compatible with Ethereum
- Focused on scalability, security, and user-friendliness for dApps and DeFi
- Employs proof-of-stake

Though there have been some wallet exploits, the network construction of Polygon isn't at fault, a consideration that sets it apart from Solana.
Founded by Justin Sun in 2017, Tron(@trondao) is a decentralized blockchain platform aiming to create a global digital content entertainment system.

Features:
- DPoS consensus for over 2,000 TPS
- Supports multiple programming languages
- Fast and low-cost transactions

Regarding security, Tron has had a few high-profile hacks, but incidents of stolen funds from exchanges have occurred. No network malfunctions were involved.
