The media has now completely moved on from Tyre Nichols. It took less than a week. Everyone involved was black so they don't really care and could only pretend for so long. I'm guessing Nichols won't have any statues built in his honor either. He's not a useful victim.

BUT I do support this as long as they are being proactive with alternative options to being jailed. Addicts still need help and hopefully in some way this helps law enforcement hone in on big dealers.

Seattle(?) has an amazing outreach program that literally prowl the streets looking for their clients to make sure they are ok and get them help, it could very well work..
