Sam Amadi, stop inflicting emotional injuries on your people, it is very hypocritical. There's no sense in a situation where a guest can contest for the position of husband, dragging the wife of his host with him. It doesn't make sense for Atanda from Oyo State to become Governor of Anambra, it is not sensible. Only land grabbers and cultural thieves can imagine such. Nigeria is not built on such.
Any Nigerian can live anywhere he chooses to live within Nigeria provided he respects the culture and tradition of his hosts. For example, an Otti can migrate from Abia to Lagos to seek greener pasture, he can compete economically without restraints, but if he chooses to compete politically after making it economically, he can now relocate back to Abia to become Governor. If he chooses to, later, he can return to lagos after his political retirement in Abia to continue his economic activities.
People like Sam must desist from giving their listeners fake assumptions. Abuja is the only politically neutral place in Nigeria, every other place is owned by a particular tribe and you cannot drag local politics with the land owners.
NNPC belongs to Nigeria but LIRS belongs to Lagos. Your advocacy can work for NNPC not a Lagos State owned BRT Management.
Stop being ridiculous
Nigeria sells raw cocoa at $8,000 a tonne. Processed into butter it earns $48,000. Made into chocolate it earns $240,000. 30 times the money, yet Nigeria is still choosing $8,000.
Lagos is a “multicultural city”, why can’t we make other Cities not multicultural? Why is it always Lagos? What happened to our various States? People have entitlement to Lagos but protect their own State. It was on this same timeline that a State publicized employment and made it only for indigenes. I didn’t see this “multicultural” arguments back then.
Fellow Nigerians, 27 years ago, many doubted democracy would survive here because of our diversity. Today, our diversity sustains our democracy. The road ahead is steep. But June 12 reminds us: Nigerians do not break. We bend, we bleed, but we do not break.
Let us renew our covenant: That the labours of our heroes past shall never be in vain, and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from this land.
May God bless the heroes of our democracy. May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria. May God continue to bless us all.
Happy Democracy Day.
BOLA AHMED TINUBU, GCFR
President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces
Federal Republic of Nigeria
Ibos came to lagos to seek for greener pastures they didn’t come to build Lagos, they came in large numbers recently because of insecurity and doing small petty jobs like uber drivers and trading, these didn’t build lagos these are survival jobs.
-Man says
According to AYO
Yoruba Muslims dancing to a cultural song means they are not Muslims enough but the Bokoharam terrorist bandits and suicide bombers ravaging the north are more Muslim Tinubu
Then when Christians say all Muslims are terrorists , you will shout Islamophobia

Why is he always obsessed with Isese? It must be that he is hiding the powerlessness of his faith. Please show us how Kurani ati Ayah can confront the problems of the land. One thing is certain, this man will end in disgrace at last.
I am a magnet for wealth and abundance flows to me effortlessly from multiple streams. Every door I need open is already open. Favor follows me wherever I go. My cup overflows. There is more than enough for me and everyone connected to me.
I affirm.
Being a Nigeria doesn't make gele yours. You have to be a Yoruba woman to be able to claim it and call out cultural appropriation.
Besides the lady in question is a Yoruba woman, wearing gele to a party shouldn't be a business of yours, since you are not Yoruba lady.
Masterminds of terrorism should not be getting 25 years jail time. They should be getting life imprisonment. Our laws need to be updated to fit and work for the current realities.
Three major observations. One: of a people trully proud of their heritage and reflecting a legacy of the ancient in the present.
Two: they are not claiming to own Lagos despite the fact that they have highly successful businesses in Lagos.
Three: Perhaps the Yoruba can learn one or two lessons here. Connect your success and progress with yourself, identities, histories and ancestors. Nobody is prioritising Nigeria over their respective regions/identities, except for the Yoruba (elites).
A quote from the Emir:
“It is not surprising that the two richest Africans we have are from Kano — Aliko Dangote and Abdulsamad Rabiu,” Sanusi said.
“I am informed that Lagos is trying to claim that it produced them. We are happy that people are claiming our sons, but just for clarity and for the record, Kano produced them.”
What do you think?
You will never see them using an example of another tribe person becoming a Governor in their own States, it’s always the other way round and Lagos most especially.
This is what the law says but ask him, which State in Nigeria is practicing anything remotely close to this except Lagos? Ask him, does his home state practice anything related to what he has said? Why is it always LAGOS, LAGOS, LAGOS even though Lagos is the State that appoint others the most?
