The Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Professor Muhammad Ali Pate, is set to address the nation on Saturday, August 2, 2025, in a special Hausa radio program, where he will highlight achievements since assuming office two years ago as the Coordinating Minister of Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare Nigeria.

The program, which will be aired on Albarka Radio Station in Bauchi, is a joint venture with Radio Nigeria. The broadcast will begin live from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, and listeners are encouraged to tune in to follow the discussion.

During the two-hour session, Professor Pate is expected to outline key achievements in the health sector, including reforms in primary healthcare, and the expansion of the health insurance system across the country.

The minister is likely to answer questions from the public and shed light on the government’s future plans to strengthen the country’s health delivery system.
