He is just 6yrs old but a legend already in my world. Even if I live 100yrs, have all the money in the world and win a Nobel Price, all of that will still not equal the meaning of the just 6yrs of Isaac on the Earth. It is legends like @isaackearney that reminds us all that a reason sure exists for exactly how we are each made, and for everything that has defined our individual journeys of life. Whether you’ve no legs or you’re born blind or you’re one of those born “perfectly able”, you are sure born to produce unique, meaningful and impactful experiences in the world; no matter who you are; what you have or don’t have. We are each the right narrative away from the manifestation of all we are made to produce in the world. Not one person exempted. Not one.

I have said repeatedly, “disability” as we know it is only an unpopular type of ability caged by the limiting narratives we have so carefully constructed to hide our wretchedness as societies. It’s called “Helplessness”—the global brand for masking the personal choice to do nothing other than to wait for others to do something; and which permits us to judge and blame those who did nothing, and absolve us of any blame in doing nothing. Helplessness is an invented state of the mind; just as powerlessness is. Adulthood is the culprit as it makes us go weaker as we outgrow our child-likeness. May Isaac grow up to be a strong and purposeful adult, but may he never outgrow his childlikeness. We will defeat anything, keep going and never stop if we remain childlike.

I teared up as I watched this video; but I’ll never forget it. It’s one of those memories that let me know that because great expectations hover over my life is the reason I have so many problems except for the ones of legends like Isaac Kearney. I have no problems therefore. We’ve no problems.
