Paphiopedilum rungsuriyanum is a very rare orchid species from the lady's slipper orchid genus, first described in 2014.
Its origin is northern Laos (endemic), where it grows as a lithophyte on limestone rocks at higher elevations in tropical humid montane forest. The species was discovered there and scientifically described by Olaf Gruß and others; to date, it is known exclusively from Laos.
It has been in my collection since 2024 and is blooming for the first time. I grow it in the warm section under LED lights and keep it moist. I'm excited to see whether I’ll succeed with its long-term cultivation. A fantastic Paphi!!!✨♥️✨
Deflasked the first set of Catasetum seedlings; keeping the largest. Several already have a significant start on a second pseudobulb.

Tagged as Neofinetia falcata h.v. Kibana
(Neofinetia is now considered Vanda by the taxonomists but I prefer the historical naming.)
Due to the color, this is most likely the hybrid V. Kibana Furan (falcata x unknown) rather than a variety of the species.
