My 17-year-old son was in a horrific accident on Monday. He was ejected from the vehicle, and we have been at Hamilton General ever since.

He has a fractured neck, a broken shoulder, broken ribs, broken elbow, broken collar bone and multiple other injuries.

And yet, since yesterday afternoon, my injured 17-year-old child has been left in a hospital hallway, under the brightest lights, with no privacy, no proper place to rest, and very little relief.

I understand our hospitals are overwhelmed. I understand our healthcare workers are stretched beyond their limits. This is not an attack on the nurses and doctors who are doing everything they can.

This is about a system that is failing both its patients AND its healthcare workers.

How have we gotten to the point where a child with a fractured neck and multiple traumatic injuries is left lying in a hallway?

And I don’t even want to make this about me, because I would sit beside my son on the floor for the rest of my life if that’s what he needed. But one week ago today, I finished 38 rounds of chemo. I’ve now spent days sitting in a hard chair beside him, running on fear, adrenaline and exhaustion, with no relief in sight.

Something has to change.

We work. We pay taxes. We pay into benefits. We do everything we’re supposed to do — and when our families desperately need help, where is it?

This isn’t acceptable healthcare.

This isn’t compassion.

And this isn’t something we should just learn to tolerate because “there aren’t enough beds.”

There aren’t enough beds. There aren’t enough resources. There aren’t enough supports. And our families and healthcare workers are paying the price.

We need change. We need accountability. And we need it NOW.

Because no parent should have to watch their seriously injured child recover in a hospital hallway.

URGENT! To all our fans who follow our investigation at Skinwalker Ranch, we are asking for your help. This is a picture of a letter we received informing us that there is an application for a new oil/gas well. This specific well will be located on the property adjacent to Skinwalker Ranch. Most concerning, the exact location of this well is literally less than 150' from the anomaly in the mesa. If this well is allowed to move forward, it will forever destroy the opportunity we have to study the unique and unexplainable phenomena occurring in the mesa. It will introduce noise, vibrations, and a lot of artificial light to the entire surrounding area. This will seriously jeopardize our ability to study many of the anomalies on the ENTIRE ranch. Here's the thing about MAGA: They don't care if Trump is a pedophile, they don't care if Trump breaks laws, or about anything he does. He could shoot and rape a someone in the middle of 5th avenue in NYC and they would applaud it as a 5D chess move.
Stop trying to reach them with empathy, you will not be able to reach them. They have been brainwashed into hate - when they say "Fuck your feelings" they mean exactly that. They have become zombified with hatred and they are addicts to anger and rage. They no longer understand (or care) how the system is supposed to work.
MAGA are easily manipulated, Trump knows his base - the anger and stupidity of his base gives him power, he thrives off of it. If you are not MAGA, they do not see you has human, they see you as a thing - they see you as being subhuman, beneath them. To them - they are on the 'good side' even though they are helping remove basic freedoms - they applaud when American citizens are being deported without due process. They applaud when marginalized people lose their rights. They applaud when women lose their rights.
They are not dealing with reality, they are living in a fantasy. That's why they do not care if Trump is a pedophile, they do not care that he has been convicted of sexual assault, and they do not care if he has 34 felony convictions. He isn't just the President to them, he is their messiah and god.
They will applaud when people protesting ICE get hurt, they will even celebrate when someone dies at the hands of the police - especially if it's a protester. They have lost their humanity, and there is really no coming back for many of them. They're desensitized and sanitized. They do not think for themselves, they let Fox news, OANN, and News Max think for them. They nod yes to everything Trump says - they are the lost and soulless that have corrupted the USA into what you are currently experiencing.
Never become like them. Love, experience happiness - help each other, help strangers, never hate someone because other people told you to do so. Be kind, gentle, and stand up for those being oppressed.
